Swiss youth protest against Turkey’s use of chemical weapons

Swiss youth organizations condemned the Turkish state’s use of chemical weapons.

In response to the invading Turkish state's deployment of chemicals and toxic gas against guerrillas in the Medya Defense Zones, Swiss alternative youth organizations staged a protest in front of the Turkish Embassy in Bern.

The activists gathered in Burgenziel Square cycled into the city centre with banners reading 'Stop the air attacks on Kurdistan' and 'Long live HPG, Long Live YJA STAR Guerrillas.'

The activists then shifted their attention to the Turkish Embassy. As they approached the embassy, they chanted slogans supporting the guerrilla resistance against the use of chemicals and poison gas by the Turkish army. The protest ended with the youth hanging banners on the embassy's front door.
