The Swiss Socialist Party (SP) published a message of solidarity with the HDP upon learning the decision by the AKP-MHP-submitted judiciary to reopen the closure case against the HDP.
European parties and politicians began to publish messages of solidarity with the HDP immediately after learning that the closure case has been reopened.

The Swiss Socialist Party (SP) made a statement condemning the decision and said in a post on Twitter: "We are in solidarity with the struggle for democracy, rule of law and human rights waged by our sister party HDP in Turkey."
