A solidarity concert for Rojava organized by the Kurdish student associations JXK/YXK took place on Friday evening in the German city of Kassel. More than 1,500 Euro were collected for the Kurdish Red Crescent (Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê). The hall, which was filled with over 300 people, was decorated with the Kurdish colours red, yellow, green, many flags and banners. Besides the information stands of the JXK/YXK and the Solidarity Committee Kassel there was a food stand.

The event was opened with a minute of silence for the people who lost their lives in the revolutionary struggle. Afterwards Azad Bedran, Silav Rojava, the workers choir, Serfiraz and Nuarin performed. In speeches the importance of the revolution in Rojava was pointed out and solidarity with the resistance was called for.
