Silent action in Düsseldorf to support the hunger strikers

Silence was used to protest against the silence of the European states and the international public opinion who are ignoring the activists on hunger strike.

A silent action was organised in Düsseldorf city of Germany to embrace the ongoing hunger strike resistance led by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven.

The hunger strike is demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and has been joined by 7,000 prisoners and activists around the world. 

The action in Germany was organised by Nalin Muş Women Initiative.

Silence was used to protest against the silence of the European states and the international public opinion who are ignoring the activists on hunger strike.

During the action, a giant banners were opened saying “Silence against the silence of the international public opinion” and “7000 Kurds are on hunger strike”.
