SDF rescues another Yazidi family from ISIS

Special units of the SDF have rescued a Yazidi woman and her two children from ISIS during their operations in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

According to Deir ez-Zor Military Council, special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have rescued a Yazidi woman and her two children from ISIS during their operations in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The mother and her children had been abducted by ISIS from Til Benat village of Shengal in 2014.

The rescued family has been handed over to the Women’s Council in Cizire Region to reunite with their family in Shengal.

SDF forces had rescued a mother and her four children from ISIS on the eastern bank of the Euphrates the day before.
