The Turkish media has claimed earlier today that the US aircraft bombed Syrian Democratic Forces in Raqqa, and that 30 SDF fighters died in the friendly fire.

SDF Spokesperson Cihan Sheikh Ehmed spoke to ANF on the claims and stated that the report was not true and was Turkey's manipulation.

Ehmed said: “This report is totally a lie and has nothing to do with the truth. We are waging a fierce battle in Raqqa and we will liberate the city. The Turkish state seeks to tarnish our campaign by spreading such fabricated reports. We do not heed such reports and we give this message to our people: We will definitely liberate Raqqa at any cost and we will clear the city of ISIS barbarians.”
