SDF General Command holds meetings with the Military Councils of Tabqa, Manbij, Ain Issa and Sareen

During the meetings, the SDF General Command focused on military and organizational activities and the preparations and readiness to counter any aggression on the North and East Syrian Region.

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) convened a series of meetings with the military councils of the Euphrates region, Tabqa, Manbij, Ain Issa, and Sareen. The meetings were part of the SDF Command’s regular meetings with the military councils and administrations of the North and East Syrian Region.

The SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi presided over the meetings, joined by the SDF General Command members, including Rohlat Afrin, Suzdar Derik, and Chiya Kobani. Commanders and administrators from the Euphrates region military councils also participated.

The SDF General Command presented an overview of the current political and military situation in the region. The meeting extensively discussed the challenges faced by the North and East Syrian Region, particularly those posed by ISIS and the Turkish occupation state. The recent escalation of treacherous targeting and attacks against civilians and their property by the Turkish occupation state was a primary focus. The SDF General Command explored strategies to counter these attacks and ensure the security and stability of the people and the region.

In addition, the SDF General Command addressed the Syrian regime’s attacks on the Deir ez-Zor region and its attempts to sow discord among the region’s components. They highlighted the regime’s failed conspiracy with the Turkish occupation state. The conspiracy has been thwarted by the SDF resistance and the unity, cohesion, and support of the people.

During the meetings, the SDF General Command focused on military and organizational activities and the preparations and readiness to counter any aggression on the North and East Syrian Region. Additionally, they assessed shortcomings in the councils’ work, urging them to address and overcome these issues through scientific and organized methods. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the people’s trust and fulfilling duties to the fullest. The military councils were encouraged to reflect the ideal organizational and disciplinary standards of the SDF, adhering to internal rules and regulations. The necessity of ongoing fighter training through enrollment in training courses and practical application was also highlighted.

In turn, the commanders and members of the Euphrates region military councils presented reports on their military and organizational activities and preparations. These reports addressed the needs of the current phase and demonstrated readiness to continue fulfilling their duties with dedication. Their primary objectives are to protect the people of the region, maintain security and stability amidst ongoing aggressions, and preserve the societal unity of the components of the North and East Syrian Region.

They also expressed their active work to organize their ranks, engage with all the people, and intensify meetings to keep everyone informed about the political and military situation and the developments unfolding in North and East Syria Region.
