Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances in the Operation Cizire Storm which was resumed on 4 June and continues at full speed.

Following fierce clashes that erupted Wednesday afternoon, SDF fighters have liberated the villages of Madina and Qabir from ISIS and rescued dozens of civilians.

The villages of Madina and Qabir to the southeast of Hasakah’s Shaddadi town are located at Syria-Iraq border.
