Electorates in two villages of Şırnak's İdil district are being forced to cast their votes under the threat of Islamic Hüda-Par (Free Cause Party) members and village guards.

In the village of Tepeköy (Xirabêripin), members of the Hüda-Par have started to collect the ID cards of electorates whom they force to cast their votes in mass. The threat and imposition by Hüda-Par members has drawn reaction from the voters.

While gendarmerie units have suspended the polling at a ballot box, tension in the village remains.

The village of Üçok (Babek) on the other hand witnesses terror by village guards who have threatened the people to cast their votes in the open.

Despite the reactions by HDP-affiliated observers, people cast their votes in the open under the supervision of gendarmerie units.
