Thousands took to the streets in Turkish cities of Istanbul, İzmir and Ankara to protest the fraud in yesterday's dubious referendum which was marked by numerous frauds and invalid votes accepted by the Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) on AKP's demand.

“No, we won”, “We don't recognize YSK”, “Not my president” and “Murderer, thief Erdoğan” chanted the protestors who called on the government to resign.

The protest demonstration in Beşiktaş, Istanbul was joined by thousands who staged a march, chanting “No is not over, this is just the beginning”, and calling on the people to take to the streets and join them against the referendum fraud.

The demonstrators will meet at the same time and scene tomorrow to continue their protest.

People also staged a demonstration in Bornova district of the western İzmir province to protest the election results and make a statement to the press denouncing the fraud. Police attacked the mass and detained many people.
