Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Spokesperson Colonel Telal Silo made a statement following the Raqqa Civilian Assembly Establishment Meeting held in the town of Ayn Îsa today.

Telal Silo celebrated the Raqqa Civilian Assembly Establishment Meeting for the people of Raqqa, stating that SDF fighters are very close to the Raqqa city in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates.

Silo pointed out that Raqqa Civilian Assembly will fulfill the mission it has undertaken for the city and its people, noting that this was proven by the works carried out by the preparation committee for the people in liberated villages.

Silo said that once the operation to liberate Raqqa is finalized, SDF will hand over the administration of the city to Raqqa Civilian Assembly. He stressed that the liberation of the Raqqa city will be a harsh response to the ISIS gangs and their supporters, and will be a message of freedom, fraternity and peace to the world.

SDF Spokesperson Telal Silo called for support for Raqqa Civilian Assembly and thanked the international coalition forces for their support to the Operation Wrath of Euphrates.
