Protest against the isolation of Öcalan in Paris

Kurds in Paris protested against the isolation of the Kurdish leader.

Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan is held in İmralı F-Type High Security Prison since 1999. The imprisonment of the Kurdish leader has turned into aggravated isolation by the Turkish state during the recent years as he is denied meeting with his lawyers since 27 July 2011.

Kurdish youth living in French capital city Paris staged a demonstration to protest the isolation and demand freedom for Öcalan.

Staging a march from Kurdish Democratic Culture Center to Evry Train Station, demonstrators condemned the isolation regime of the Turkish state and reiterated their demand for the freedom of the Kurdish leader.
