Prisoner on death fast in Edirne sets himself on fire

Prisoner Mehmet Karahan who had started a death fast on March 3 in Edirne F-type Closed Prison set himself on fire.

Prisoner Mehmet Karahan who had started a death fast on March 3 in Edirne F-type Closed Prison set himself on fire.

Karahan set himself on fire on the night of March 20 in order to protest the dirty war waged by AKP in Kurdistan and demand an end to the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Karahan was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his latest condition remains unknown while his treatment continues.
