Police operation in Adana targets CHP
A "bribery operation" has been carried out against CHP's Adana Ceyhan Municipality, many people taken into custody.
Within the scope of the "bribery" investigation launched out by Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrant was issued for 23 people, including dismissed Republican People's Party (CHP) mayor Kadir Aydar.
Police raided the Ceyhan Municipality building and the homes of Aydar and other suspects. Many people were taken into custody for alleged "bribery".
It was not clear whether Aydar has been taken into custody.
