The police attacked the statement that the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Istanbul Provincial Organization wanted to make in front of the provincial building regarding the Kobanê Case.

Before the statement, dozens of policemen, who closed off the provincial building and its surroundings, blocked the entrances and exits to the street where the building is located. Minutes before the statement began, the police blocked the front of the door and prevented anyone from going inside.

Attacking the crowd who wanted to go out and make a statement, the police detained many people, including MA Reporter Enes Sezgin and Artı TV reporters.
