Police detain 20 people in Adana, Şırnak and Dersim
20 people, including HDP and DBP executives, were detained in the political genocide operations carried out in three provinces of Adana, Şırnak and Dersim.
Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an operation and ordered the raids of houses in Adana, Şırnak and Dersim. 20 people, including the leaders of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), were detained.
Those detained on the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organization" are being held in Adana Provincial Police Department.
The names of some of the detainees are as follows: HDP Adana Provincial Organization executive Mehmet Yaşık, Çukurova TUAYDER executive Mehmet Tutuş, Cigerhum Güven, Şinda Erol, Beritan Özbey.
