HDP parliamentarian and İmralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder emphasized that the suspension of negotiations on Kurdish question is not separate from the international conspiracy.
HDP Ankara parliamentarian and İmralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder spoke to ANF on the anniversary of the February 15 international conspiracy and emphasized that he suspension of negotiations on Kurdish question in Turkey is not separate from the international conspiracy.
Önder remarked that Öcalan launched a march for democratic politics and peace when he left Syria for Europe, and that this situation bothered the international powers that have always viewed Kurdish people as an instrument. Önder pointed out that the conspiracy could not and would not prevent the march for peace, adding: "As a person that has worked with Mr. Öcalan for three years, I know that the march for peace will lead to equality, freedom and justice despite the obstacles. We will do this all together."
Önder stressed that: "The basic status quo in the region has always aligned regional powers for the oppression and marginalization of the Kurds. When Mr. Öcalan launched his march for peace, the international conspiracy quickly span its net."
HDP MP emphasized that Öcalan made Turkey and the peoples of the world accept this will with his initiatives for democratic politics and peace on İmralı.
Responding to the speculations that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan said "Yes" to the presidential system, Sırrı Süreyya Önder described these claims as part of a black deception. Önder emphasized that Öcalan has drawn a strong line against the AKP government's unserious approach and all the distortions that focus solely on the presidential dimension of the issue in violation of its democratic dimension. HDP MP added: “In a devious manner, they are trying to organise a boycott over the Kurdish people, to make them vote 'Yes' if they can, and to keep them off the ballot box if they can't. We will defeat this game.”
