Green Left Party Urfa (Riha) MP Ömer Öcalan held a press conference in the Parliament to draw attention to the role of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan in the democratic solution to the Kurdish question and the isolation imposed on him in Imrali.

Öcalan spoke in Kurdish during the 13-minute conference. The press office of the Turkish parliament made a complaint because the meeting was held in a language other than Turkish.
