The Kurdish European umbrella organization KCDK-E welcomed the mass participation in this year's Newroz events. In a statement published today, KCDK-E said: "In 2021, Newroz was celebrated in all four parts of Kurdistan and throughout Europe with great enthusiasm and in the spirit of a true uprising. The greatness of the celebrations, the messages and expressions of will on Newroz have become a source of determination.

Faced with the resolute stance of millions of people, the fascist dictator Erdoğan is once again forced to understand that his end is imminent. In the face of those who trample on the will of millions through political extermination operations - the AKP and the MHP, the Ergenekon fascists and the racist mobs - an unwavering will was shown. Millions united around Abdullah Öcalan and showed this by chanting the slogan 'Bijî Serok Apo' [Long Live Leader Öcalan]. The mass rallies sent a message of freedom far and wide.

Undoubtedly, the struggle and conviction of our people have made the Newroz of 2021 so passionate. The belief in freedom illuminates our path. We congratulate our people for their selfless attitude and their determined stand for freedom.

Once again, it could be seen that our freedom march has taken the right path and is moving towards its goal united with the people. This will of our people will destroy fascism, end the occupation and liberate Rêber Apo [Leader Öcalan].

It will be our most fundamental task to continue the struggle for the liberation of Rêber Apo by smashing the isolation with this determination and morale. We will fight resolutely until we receive clear information about Rêber Apo's health and life and will continue to advocate for his physical freedom.

In the spirit of Newroz, we call for struggle against the anti-Kurdish, fascist AKP-MHP-Ergenekon bloc. As KCDK-E, we welcome the determined struggle and the will shown by our people once again on Newroz."
