HDP co-chair Sezai Temelli and Kurdish politician Ahmet Turk are the main speakers at the final rally in Mardin.

Two days left to the 24 June elections and Mardin welcomed the HDP members with joy and enthusiasm in the borough of Artuklu.

Thousands of people went through the heavy security measures before the rally, chanting and shouting slogans and carrying photos of HDP presidential candidate Selahattin Demirtaş and waving the HDP flags. 

Turn your back to fascism

The crowd was made up of young, women, men, children and the most heard slogan was “Turn you back to fascism”. Many people were wearing local and traditional clothes. 

The rally began with videos while the people danced in the area.
