March to demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan today in Cologne

Everything is ready for the central march organized in Cologne to demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan.

A central march to demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan will be held today in Cologne. The march is organized by the democratic Kurdish institutions and organizations in Europe and is supported by internationally renowned politicians, intellectuals, writers, academics and artists. The march is part of the 'Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question' campaign launched on 10 October 2023.

DEM Party Germany co-representative and former MP Faysal Sarıyıldız said: “Every Kurd should be in Cologne to demand 'Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question'. We consider this march a historical action. Because World War III has now started in the Middle East, where Kurdistan is at its center. Öcalan was drawing attention to this 25 years ago and saying that this was the beginning of World War III.”

The march will start at 10 am in Deutzer Werft in Cologne.
