Long march in Italy reached Modena

The long march by Kurdish activists in Italy set off from Milan on 20 May.

The long march organised in Italy for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the hunger strike resistance reached Modena where a press conference was held.

The activists held a press conference to explain the hunger strike resistance and its end after Abdullah Öcalan’s message. The conference was at the trade union CGIL . 

The long march set off from Milan on 20 May. 

In a statement the activists said: "We have decided to take such an action to break the silence and we have ended our march on its 7th day after the press conference made by lawyers."
