Long March for Öcalan in Greece on day 2

The long march organised by Kurdish youth in Greece for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan continues on day 2.

Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) started a three-day march from the Lavrio city yesterday in protest at the October 9 International Plot against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Dozens of young people are joining the march which is held under the motto “March with the Leader, Smash Fascism”.

Participants have reached the Marco Polo town yesterday evening and resumed the second stage of the march this morning with flags of the KCK, HPG, YPG and YPJ.

During the course of the march, the activists are also handing out leaflets informing about the international plot and Turkey’s invasion attacks against Rojava. They are met with interest in the towns they pass through.

On the third day of the march, the activists will reach the Syntagma Square in Athens, from where they will stage a march to the Turkish Consulate with more people.
