Long March ended in Parma

The long march organised by the Kurdish people in Italy reached the city of Parma.

The long march left Milan on 20 May to draw attention to the hunger strike and death fast resistance demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The activists arrived in Parma on Monday where they attended a meeting.

The long march actually ended following the message by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who said he was expecting the hunger strike to be called off. Indeed the protest ended and the march was also called off. However activists held a meeting in the city of Parma, where they also met the mayor.
