Lawyers apply to visit Abdullah Öcalan
Abdullah Öcalan's team of lawyers has again applied to visit their client, who is imprisoned on the prison island of Imrali.
Öcalan's lawyers Raziye Öztürk, Rezan Sarıca, Ibrahim Bilmez ve Serbay Köklü, have again applied for permission to visit the Imrali island prison tomorrow, Wednesday.
After 8 years of interruption, lawyers were able to finally meet with their clients on 2-22 May, 12-18 June ad 7 August 2019.
On 23 September 2020 Bursa prosecutor imposed a ban on visits he justified with the Road Map presented by Öcalan in addition to the defense sent to the European Court of Human Rights in 2009.
