Kurds protest Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan in Toronto

The Kurds living in Toronto, Canada protested the Turkish invasion attacks and praised the guerrilla resistance in South Kurdistan.

Kurds came together following the call of the Democratic Kurdish People's Assembly in Toronto, Canada and protested the invasion attacks of the Turkish state in various 

. Despite the heavy rain, the Kurdish activists marched for 2 hours from the association office to Keele-Wilson Square.

“The recent attacks against Kurdistan are being carried out for all the world to see. International forces, the US and Germany remain silent and pave the way for the massacres committed by the Turkish state, the KDP treason network and the Iraqi army. Our people should expand their resistance against the genocidal attacks and massacres of the Iraqi army by embracing their land, language, culture and national values more than ever and by condemning the states that have remained silent towards all these massacres,” the Kurdish activists said in a statement made during the march.

The protest march was concluded following a moment of silence, the Çerxa Şoreşê Anthem and the slogan " Şehîd namirin" (Martyrs are immortal).
