Kurds and their friends living in Luxembourg have gathered in front of the parliament building to protest the attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria.
More than 150 people carrying YPG, YPJ and yellow, red, green flags chanted the slogans "Bijî Berxwedana Rojava" and "Jin Jiyan Azadî" at the rally organized jointly by the Kurds with the Die Linke party and anti-fascist groups.
After statements were made on behalf of the participating institutions, expressing solidarity with the people of Rojava and the revolution, a dossier containing the demands of the crowd was delivered to the Luxembourg government and the nearby Turkish Embassy.
The dossier included demands for "recognition of Rojava’s autonomy, imposition of an arms embargo on the Turkish state that attacks Rojava at every opportunity, withdrawal of Turkish army forces and SNA gangs from Syria, and support for a peaceful, democratic solution in Syria."
