Kurdish women in Darmstadt send postcards to Imralı

The Kurdish women's movement in Darmstadt sent postcards to Imralı as part of the campaign for the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

An action led by Kurdish women took place in Darmstadt within the scope of the global campaign for Abdullah Öcalan's physical freedom.

The women made a short statement in front of the post office, underlining that Abdullah Öcalan had been in isolation for 25 years. The women said: "Our leadership has been in isolation, and we have not received any news from him for nearly three years. We support the international campaign ‘Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Political Solution to the Kurdish Question’ launched in Kurdistan and all over the world on 10 October 2023."

The women filled and sent postcards to Imrali demanding an end to the isolation and genocide against the Kurdish people.

The women also called for participation in the march that will take place in Cologne on 17 February.
