Gasanova highlighted the ongoing resistance of the Kurdish people under the lead of women and youth, saying, “Our struggle will continue until our leader gains his freedom. As Kurdish women living in Russia, we condemn the aggravated isolation imposed by the fascist Turkish state on the leader of the Kurdish people. We demand that the isolation be stopped immediately and the Kurdish leader is enabled to meet with his family and lawyers. The international community is silent on the isolation of Öcalan because of a concept executed by the fascist Turkish state against the Kurdish people. We call upon the international community and human rights organizations to break their silence.”
