Turkish police detained Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Osman Baydemir in Ankara on Friday.
Turkish police detained Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Osman Baydemir in Ankara on Friday.
Baydemir was detained by Turkish police as he was leaving the HDP party building in Ankara.
He was taken to Ankara Prosecutor’s Office and released after giving his statement.
Baydemir was detained by Turkish police several times in recent months. The Kurdish MP refuses to testify to prosecutors after the arrest of his fellow HDP MPs. Therefore prosecutors issue arrest warrant for him.
