KCK: The global Freedom Campaign reached a new stage

The KCK said that "with the march in Cologne, the global Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Campaign reached a new stage."

The KCK Council Executive Co-Presidency issued a statement to congratulate those who participated in the Freedom March in Cologne.

The statement said: "Within the framework of the global campaign launched under the slogan Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, a Political Solution to the Kurdish Question, a big march and rally was held in the city of Cologne, Germany on February 17.

Upon the call of several Kurdish organizations and international friends of the Kurdish people in Europe, tens of thousands of people marched to the area where the rally was held, and a very great rally was held with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people."

The statement added: "We salute this great and meaningful rally and congratulate our patriotic people who participated in the rally and all those who contributed to it. We also congratulate all our international friends, women and international young people who have shown sensitivity for the physical freedom of Rêber Apo (Abdullah Öcalan) and the democratic solution to the Kurdish question and who have led the global freedom campaign. They are taking a very important and meaningful stance. The people of Kurdistan highly appreciate their efforts and solidarity."

The statement continued: "With the huge march and rally in Cologne and the gathering of hundreds of thousands of people, the global freedom campaign, which was started and pioneered by the international friends of the Kurdish people on October 10, has reached a new stage. This is the stage of mass mobilization of the freedom campaign.

We strongly believe that from now on, the global freedom campaign will become more and more influential with the participation of millions of people everywhere, in the four parts of Kurdistan and abroad. On this basis, we call upon our people, friends, women, young people and all those who are searching for freedom and democracy to expand their work and complete the freedom campaign by uniting millions of people everywhere within the framework of the global freedom campaign."
