KCDK-E: May Eid al-Fitr be an occasion for solidarity and sharing

KCDK-E said, "We should take this Eid as an occasion to strengthen the national unity and the spirit of common solidarity of all our people, to stand firm against the oppressors and to popularise the campaign initiated for the physical freedom of Öcalan."

The Congress of Democratic Societies of Kurdistan in Europe (KCDK-E) wished freedom, equality, fraternity, democracy and justice to the families of martyrs, Kurdish people and oppressed humanity on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

"The barbaric and anti-Kurdish fascist power of our century, AKP-MHP, continues its genocidal policies against our people," the statement KCDK-E said, adding that the Kurdish people celebrated Eid al-Fitr in peace and brotherhood despite the ongoing genocidal attacks.

KCDK-E noted that Eids are the days when peoples of various beliefs increase the spirit of solidarity, heal their wounds, and are the greatest occasion for meeting: "For this reason, our people should increase their material and moral solidarity with each other by making Eid visits, and continue to mobilise all the means they can in the face of poverty affecting millions. On the occasion of Eid, we should embrace our people in need in all parts of Kurdistan and strengthen national unity and the spirit of common solidarity on this holiday.

Let us honour the Eid days, which constitute the best example to explain Leader Apo's (Abdullah Öcalan’s) paradigm that unites humanity, ends the enmity between peoples and beliefs, and enhances common life, by demanding the physical freedom of Leader Apo more strongly.

With feelings of unity and solidarity, we must support our people who resist with Leader Apo's thoughts that unite humanity, who do not kneel before the fascist state, whose houses have been burned and destroyed, and we must not leave them alone on Eid. We must strengthen material and moral solidarity and increase the struggle.

We should take this Eid as an occasion to strengthen the national unity and the spirit of common solidarity of all our people and to stand firm against the oppressors and to popularise the campaign initiated for the physical freedom of Leader Apo.

As KCDK-E, with the hope that this holiday will bring freedom, equality, fraternity, democracy and justice to the peoples and oppressed humanity, we celebrate the Eid of all humanity, especially the Kurdish people, and hope that it will be instrumental in increasing solidarity and sharing."
