KCDK-E announces support for the HDP

This election is to get rid of fascism, said the KCDK-E.

The KCDK-E (European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress ) Co-Presidency Council issued a written statement on Friday on the elections on 24 June.

Considering the June 24th elections as an important turning point in the fight for freedom and democracy the statement said: “Every vote we use to struggle for democracy and freedom will block the massacre of the fascist AKP-MHP alliance”.

The KCDK-E also said:

“To those who think that their vote will make no difference, therefore doubt whether to go to the polls, we say that every vote not used is in fact giving support to the Erdoğan regime, which means support to the coalition, the repressive fascist and alliances... Each vote counts, and must be used to stop the massacres. The HDP - said the statement - will give us the opportunity to make our votes count. For this we support the Presidential candidate put forward by the HDP, Selahattin Demirtaş.

Referring to the registration for voters abroad, the KCDK-E statement said that they have been working to ensure registration of residents abroad from Europe to the United States, from Canada to Africa, Japan and Australia. The statement invited everyone to work hard on “the last two days left for registration. We know that European voters will determine the fate of this election. For this we have to make sure nobody is left without registration”.
