Justice for Kurdistan campaign in the UK

A new campaign titled Justice for Kurdistan has been launched in the UK.

Support for the Kurdish Freedom Movement and the campaign for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues to grow.

The campaign had been declared in the UK Parliament by trade unions with millions of members 2 years ago. Now, British local council members and London City Council members have declared the Justice for Kurdistan Campaign.

LEADERS OF THE CAMPAIGN

The main opposition Labour Party declared the Justice for Kurdistan campaign in the Liverpool conference. The campaign is led by London City Council members Jeannette Arnold and Unmesh Desai, Doncaster City Council member Tosh Mcdonald, Ealing City Council member Aysha Raza, Brent City Council member Tom Miller, Haringey City Council member Makbule Gunes and Kensington and Chelsea City Council member Mohammed Bakhtiyar.

ACTIVITIES TO BE HELD BY CITY COUNCILS

Justice for Kurdistan aims to show solidarity for local administrations and arrested co-mayors and council members in Kurdistan and to support the ongoing Freedom for Öcalan Campaign in the UK. The campaign will hold activities through city councils.
