Jinên Tirejen Roje Initiative claims actions against isolation

Jinên Tirejen Roje Initiative carried out different actions in many cities against the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imrali.

Jinên Tirejen Roje Initiative carried out different actions against the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and in support to the resistance carried out by prisoners on hunger strike since 27 November.

In a written statement, the Initiative reiterated that "everyone close to AKP-MHP is our target." The Initiative also emphasized that the actions will continue to grow until the isolation is broken.

DETAILS OF THE ACTIONS

The statement provided the following information regarding the actions carried out:

"On 15 December, 3 vehicles belonging to AKP-MHP fascists and a hardware store were set on fire in Sakarya Adapazarı.

On 17 December, a factory making cleaning products belonging to an AKP businessman and 2 vehicles were set on fire in Dilovası, Kocaeli.

On 18 December, a bus belonging to Metro Turizm was set on fire in Gemlik, Bursa.

On 21 December, 4 vehicles belonging to AKP fascists were burned in Bakırköy, Istanbul.

As a result of the technical monitoring of our women's units in Silivri, Istanbul, on 21 December, an action targeted a police vehicle with molotov cocktails, 2 rapist police officers were injured.

On 22 December, 3 vehicles belonging to Turkish fascists were burned in Istanbul Ataşehir.

On 23 December, 4 vehicles and markets of AKP supporters were burned in Tekirdağ Çorlu.

On the 23 and 24 December, the streets in Küçükçekmece, Başakşehir, Zeytinburnu and Bahçelievler, in Istanbul, were decorated with pictures of President Öcalan."
