Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê Initiative claimed the following actions: “On 13 August, an action was carried out against the police station in Istanbul Kanarya borough. In the action, the police station was targeted first with handmade explosives. Later, clashes took place with TEM and special operations units around and inside the station.”

The statement added: “Our units avoided harming civilians during the action. However, dozens of police, who caught two young people close to the action venue, took them into custody beating and torturing him. We state that both young people have nothing to do with our units and the action.”

The statement listed the other actions as follows: “On 15 August, a drug production warehouse belonging to the fascists and two vehicles belonging to the workplace in Tuzla, Istanbul were burned and destroyed by our units.

On 15 August, the neighbourhood of Küçükçekmece in Istanbul, known for the many with AKP-MHP fascist residents, was targeted and a vehicle destroyed.”
