ISIS attack on Alexandria neighborhood of Tabqa repelled
SDF fighters have repelled the ISIS attack on Alexandria neighborhood of Tabqa and two ISIS suicide bombers were killed.
Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their operation to liberate Tabqa city of Raqqa province from ISIS occupation.
ISIS gangs have attacked the position of SDF fighters in Alexandria neighborhood of Tabqa at around 15:00 Monday afternoon.
Clashes erupted upon the response of SDF fighters who repelled the attack after three hours of fighting.
Out of the five ISIS suicide bombers that hid in a house, two were killed and the other three managed to escape.
On the other hand, SDF fighters thwarted a suicide car bomb attack of the ISIS groups at around 17:15 by striking the bomb-laden truck before it reached the target.
Two SDF fighters got slightly injured during clashes.
