Human Right Association (IHD) sent postcards to imprisoned Kurdish mayors and politicians to celebrate Ramadan Fest.

IHD's Diyarbakir branch organized an event to sent postcards to imprisoned Kurdish mayors and politicians. Hundreds of IHD members gathered in Surici post office and sent postcard to Diyarbakir D Type Prison.

An IHD official Raci Bilici said they remember the imprisoned Kurdish politicians on the eve of Ramadan fest.

"We are proud of them as they have struggled for a democratic and peaceful solution to the Kurdish Question" he said.

"We wish nobody will be in prison in the coming Ramadans" he added.

After the statement IHD members posted postcards from Surici Post Office.
