Hunger strike in front of NRW Parliament on day 3

As the hunger strike in Dusseldorf continues in its third day, a demonstration was staged in Bodensee, Germany in solidarity with the hunger strikes of political prisoners in Turkey.

Demonstrations and solidarity actions continue in Turkey, Kurdistan and Europe for the massive hunger strike in Turkish prisons which has entered day 59 in İzmir's Şakran Prison.

The alternate hunger strike started by 25 Kurdish citizens in front of the Nordrhein Westfalen State Parliament in Dusseldorf, Germany continues in its third day.

The alternate hunger strike is led by Yêkitiyê Jinên Kurdistan-Elmanya (YJK-E), Dusseldorf, Duisburg, Essen, Bonn, Cologne and Mönchengladbach Democratic Kurdish Society Centers, Kurdistan Families of Martyrs and the Disappeared Institution (KOMAW), TEV-ÇAND, Mesopotamia Faith Institutions (FEDA, CİK and Êzidî faith Institution) and Kurdistan Youth Movement.

The women joining the hunger strike called for strong participation in the march to be staged in front of the DGB Haus at 15:00 on April 15, and the following demonstration in front of the NRW State Parliament.

In the meantime, a march was staged in the Friedrichshafen city in Bodensee region of Germany under the lead of Mesopotamia Cultural Centre in solidarity with the prison hunger strikes.
