The HDP executives attended the meeting of the Left Group (GUE / NGL) chaired by Martin Schirdewan after meeting with the parliamentarians of the Greens / EFA.

HDP External Relations Commission Co-Spokesperson Hişyar Özsoy, spoke about the ban case against the HDP which will begin on 26 April. He said that the case against the HDP is another attempt by the AKP to remain in power for another term.

On the other hand, the European Parliament Left Group (GUE / NGL Group, which includes Martin Schirdewan (GUE / NGL Group Co-chair), Dimitrios Papadimoulis (European Parliament deputy President) Nikolaj Villumsen, Pernando Barrena, Malin Björk, Costas Arvanitis, Helmut Scholz, Georgios Georgiou and Özlem Alev Demirel) met with HDP co-chair Mithat Sancar, deputy co-chair Feleknas Uca and Parliamentary Group deputy chair Saruhan Oluç. Both parties emphasized that the internationalist solidarity between the Left Group and the HDP is stronger than ever.
