HBDH Joint Command announced that 6 high-ranking soldiers were killed as a result of an action by their militants that targeted a gendarme minibus on Trabzon-Gümüşhane highway on June 5.
Peoples’ United Revolution Movement (HBDH) Joint Command reported in a written statement that their militants targeted and hit a gendarme minibus on the highway between the provinces of Trabzon and Gümüşhane in the Black Sea region at 10:00 on June 5. The action which was carried out in response to the AKP and state fascism left the minibus destroyed, as a result of which 6 high-ranking soldiers travelling in it died.
HBDH statement said that Turkish forces closed the highway to traffic for 3 hours and started an operation in the wake of the action, and the operation still continues.
TURKISH MILITARY UNIT HIT IN HATAY
HBDH also reported that their militants hit a disguised unit of the Turkish military in the rural area of Hatay's Payas district aat 14:00 on June 4. While the death toll inflicted on the Turkish unit couldn't be clarified, HBDH militants turned back to their base safely.
