Gangs backed by Turkey attack the regime in Aleppo

The gang groups that Turkey assumed guarantor status for in Astana and Sochi have launched an attack against the regime in the peripheral neighborhoods to the west of Aleppo yesterday evening. Intense clashes continue in the region.

The armed gang groups that the Turkish state assumed guarantor status for for Idlib have launched an attack against Syrian regime positions from western Aleppo yesterday evening.

Reports say the gang groups brought together by the Turkish state under the name Syrian National Army (Jaysh Al-Watani) attacked regime positions in the Cemiyet Zehran and Bihus Ilmi regions (dubbed “New Aleppo”) yesterday evening. Both sides were using heavy weapons, and there is no concrete information on the outcome of the clashes yet, which continue occasionally.

The Jaysh al-Watani group formed under the lead of the Sultan Murad Brigade which is controlled by the Turkish state and MİT had also launched an elimination operation against the Ahrar Al-Sharqiyya group in Afrin yesterday morning.

A curfew was declared in the city, and aerial activity continues. There have been reports of casualties from both sides in clashes in Afrin’s Ashrafiya, Mahmudiya, Welat Street, Suq al-Hal, Kawa Square and the industrial zone regions all day.
