French Anti-Capitalist Party condemns arrests of Kurdish activists in Marseille and Paris

In a written statement, the French Anti-Capitalist Party condemned the raids and arrest of Kurdish activists carried out by the police in Marseille and Paris.

The French Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA) condemned the raids and arrest of Kurdish activists carried out by the police in Marseille and Paris.

The statement said: “These police measures against the representatives of a struggling people are inadmissible.

Obviously, Macron and his government are scrupulously applying the instructions of dictator Erdogan, more than ever determined to curb any organized resistance in Turkey or elsewhere, for example by deciding the dissolution of the HDP.”

The statements underlined the important role played by Kurds in fighting ISIS and added: “The NPA protests against these scandalous police measures and demands the immediate and unconditional release of the Kurdish activists.”
