Following the house raids in Ýstanbul and Bitlis, 14 people including Dicle News Agency (DÝHA) Bitlis correspondent Sinan Aygül and a child were detained.
According to the report received, police teams raided a number of houses this morning in Tatvan town of Bitlis, detaining 12 people including Eðitim Sen Tatvan Branch Chair Yüksel Ozan, BDP Tatvan Vice President Kerem Kat, BDP members Tülay, Özgür Akbay, Sadullah Alpan, Nazime Avras, Bitlis Eren University Tatvan High Vocational School student Ýslim Uçan. The detainees were reported to be taken to Bitlis Police Department.
And two separate house raids were carried out in Baðcýlar and Maltepe districts of Ýstanbul. Dicle News Agency (DÝHA) Bitlis correspondent Sinan Aygül and 17-year-old E.A. were detained with the raids and taken to Ýstanbul Security Directorate Anti-Terror Branch.
