DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike for 79 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, has been released from prison on Friday.

Met by deputies and executives of the HDP and DTK in front of the prison, Güven was then taken to her home in the Baglar district’s Bagcilar neighborhood where she will continue her hunger strike.
