Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan and Mazlum Dinç applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office through their lawyers to go to Imralı.

Impralı prisoner Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım, Ömer Hayri Konar's sister Emin Konar and Veysi Aktaş's sister Sabiha Aslan also requested a visit through their lawyers.

Ömer Hayri Konar and Veysi Aktaş have been able to meet their families for the first time on 5 June. They had previously been granted visit to Imralı on 15  March 2015. Hamili Yıldırım had not been granted a visit to Imralı since 5 July 2015.

Lawyers of Kurdish people's leader, Öcalan, have been able to visit their client on 12 June.
