Erdoğan: We'll take all measures against provocations aimed at driving the process into a deadlock

Turkish President Erdoğan, in his statement about Öcalan’s historic call, said: "No member of this nation, whether Turk or Kurd, will forgive anyone who drives the process into a deadlock with ambiguous rhetoric and actions, as happened in the past."

In a statement about Abdullah Öcalan’s historic Peace and Democratic Society call, Erdoğan said that a new phase had begun as of Thursday and that there was an opportunity to take a historic step. He added: "No member of this nation, whether Turk or Kurd, will forgive anyone who drives the process into a deadlock with ambiguous rhetoric and actions, as happened in the past. We will exercise the highest level of caution against any potential provocations during this process and take all necessary measures."
