Democratic Syria Assembly stated that the upcoming parliamentarian election in Syria would not be legitimate.

Democratic Syria Assembly Presidency Council issued a written statement on the Syrian Parliamentarian Election to be held on April 13. Democratic Syria Assembly announced that the upcoming election would not be legitimate and called upon peoples to boycott the election. The Assembly also called upon the international public to act in order to stop the illegitimate election and stated that solution in Syria could be reached if true representatives participated in the Geneva process.

Lastly, the Assembly condemned the ongoing attacks and massacres in Şêx Meqsûd, and called upon the ISSG ceasefire task force of the UN Security Council to fulfill their moral duties and break the silence concerning the massacres in the Kurdish Şêx Meqsûd neighborhood of Aleppo.
