Demo in London against Turkish attacks on guerrilla zones

In London, England, Kurds and their friends protested the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state against the Medya Defense Zones in cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

The Kurdish People's Assembly, the United Revolutionary Movement of Peoples (HBDH), the Democratic Forces Union (DGB)-Britain and various non-governmental organizations and local associations organized a protest in front of the Turkish Embassy in London against the Turkish state's invasion attacks on the Medya Defense Zones.

The crowd chanted slogans such as "Yesterday Armenia, today Kurdistan", "Stop the massacre in Kurdistan", "Be Serok jiyan na be" (No life without the leader), "Biji berxedana gerila" (Long live guerrilla resistance) "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" (Woman, Life, Freedom). Speakers stressed that the occupation attacks came at a time when the political genocide attacks against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) have intensified. They noted that these attacks have been directed at the oppressed peoples.

A message of support was delivered for the HDP during the action which also raised concern over the Kobanê Case in which 108 people stand trial over solidarity with Kobane during the ISIS onslaught in 2014.
