DEM Party Imrali delegation announces program of meetings with parties in Parliament

The DEM Party Imrali delegation announced the program of the meetings with political parties that are represented in the Parliament.

On Thursday, the DEM Party Imrali delegation, consisting of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan and Ahmet Türk, met first with Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş, an Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Pervin Buldan and Ahmet Türk  then with MHP chair Devlet Bahçeli.

The program of the delegation for next week involves meetings with the Future Party, AKP and Saadet Party on 6 January, with the New Welfare Party and DEVA Party on 7 January.

According to the program shared by the DEM Party Press Office, the delegation will meet with Future Party chair, Ahmet Davutoğlu, at the party headquarters on Monday, 6 January at 11:00. Then, they will visit the AKP at 13:30. The last meeting of the day will be held at the Saadet Party Headquarters with chair Mahmut Arıkan at 15:30.

The delegation will meet with DEVA Party chair Ali Babacan at the party headquarters on Tuesday, 7 January at 13:00. On the same day at 15:30, the delegation will meet with the chair of the Yeniden Welfare Party, Fatih Erbakan, at the party’s headquarters.

The DEM Party said that it will share the details of these visits in the coming days.

Sırrı Süreyya Önder made a short statement after the meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, saying it "went well". Önder said that they had conveyed the content of their meeting with Abdullah Öcalan and received suggestions. Önder added: "After meeting Mr. Bahçeli, we will visit the Republican People's Party (CHP), AK Party and all parties represented in Parliament on Monday. After making all these visits, we will make a comprehensive statement as a delegation."

DEM Party members Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan met with Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı on 28 December 2024, and after this visit, they started meetings with political parties in the parliament.
